Why are the editions different?

Your wallpaper choices, display arrangement, playlists, and local media references are app settings. WallTune does not upload your personal wallpaper files simply because you use them in the app.
What may be processed
License delivery and recovery may process the email address used for a Direct purchase and a device identifier needed to validate that license. Downloads and gallery media may also produce ordinary server logs such as IP address, time, and requested file.
When you contact us
Support receives the information you choose to send, including your email, message, and any diagnostic details you attach. This information is used to answer the request.
Your choices
You can ask about, correct, or request deletion of support and license information by contacting support@walltune.app, subject to records that must be retained for legal or transaction purposes.

You may use WallTune for lawful personal or professional desktop customization. Do not interfere with the service, bypass license controls, distribute the app without permission, or use gallery content outside the rights granted by its source.
Purchases and channels
The Direct edition and Mac App Store edition use different purchase, update, refund, and feature-delivery systems. The conditions shown during checkout and by the selected store form part of the transaction.
Availability and changes
WallTune may change as macOS changes. Features can depend on the operating-system version, Mac hardware, display configuration, or purchase channel. Release notes describe material product changes.
Your responsibility
Keep a backup of media you bring into WallTune and confirm that you have the right to use it. WallTune is provided without a promise that every third-party display, file, or macOS beta will behave identically.

A valid purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the applicable WallTune edition under the conditions presented by its purchase channel.
Restrictions
You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, or defeat technical protections in WallTune except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Wallpaper content
WallTune does not transfer ownership of gallery artwork or media you import. Each work remains subject to the rights of its creator or source.
Updates and termination
Updates may add, remove, or adapt functionality to maintain compatibility with macOS. The license ends if its material terms are breached; sections that logically survive termination remain in effect.

WallTune’s 14-day money-back guarantee, refund eligibility, and how to request a refund.
Eligibility for Refund
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. This policy applies globally to ensure a fair and consistent experience.
- Submit your request within fourteen (14) calendar days of the original purchase date.
- Send your request by email to support@walltune.app.
- Include the email address used at checkout, a brief explanation of the reason (optional), and optionally your order ID or the last 4 digits of the payment card for verification.
- We may request additional information solely to verify the purchase and authenticity of the request.
- You can request a refund even if the software has been downloaded, installed, or activated, and even if the license has been used on up to three (3) personal devices, provided you are within 14 days.
- Justification is not required, though feedback is appreciated.
Method and Processing of Refunds
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, including Apple Pay and major cards.
- If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method used.
- We do not process refunds to alternative methods.
- Processing time depends on your financial institution and is typically 3–10 business days.
- We do not charge refund handling or processing fees.
Cases Where Refunds Are Not Granted
- Requests made after the 14-day window.
- Violation of our Terms of Use, including unlawful, harmful, or abusive use.
- Misuse of license: sharing, sublicensing, redistribution, or resale.
- Abuse of the refund policy, including repeated refund requests, fraudulent behavior, false identity, or payment disputes.
- If the user's account, where applicable, has been suspended or banned due to policy breach or detected fraud.
- We may deny refunds where we have a good-faith belief the request is dishonest or abusive.
Additional Considerations
- WallTune licenses may be activated on up to three (3) personal macOS devices per license key.
- Eligibility is based exclusively on compliance with the 14-day timeframe and adherence to our Terms of Use and this Refund Policy.
- Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at our reasonable discretion.
- We may interpret, apply, or amend this policy in accordance with applicable law and specific case circumstances.
How to Submit a Refund Request
- Email subject: Refund Request - WallTune.
- Email body: include the email used for purchase and a short explanation of your reason.
- Optional: your order number or proof of purchase.
- Send to: support@walltune.app.
- We aim to respond within 3 business days, subject to volume.
Mac App Store Purchases
If you purchased through the Mac App Store, refunds must be requested directly through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not limit or exclude rights under applicable consumer protection laws. If specific statutory refund rights apply in your jurisdiction, those rights are respected in full.
